Emily Dunlap is an Ohio-based visual artist who specializes in vibrant and expressive oil paintings of animals, people and landscapes. Emily rose to prominence for her humorous and whimsical paintings featuring anthropomorphic animals. Using expressive brushstrokes and thick layers of paint, she create works filled with dynamic textures and luminous colors.Many of Emily’s dreamlike works are inspired by childhood nostalgia, fantasy stories and fairytales, and her favorite foods. She also draws inspiration from her love of nature, surrealism, and classical art.When Emily is not busy painting, you can find her playing piano, spending time in nature, or relaxing with a nice book and cup of tea.
